Casino Fundraisers
Casino Fundraiser & Casino Night Rentals in LA & Orange County
A casino-night fundraiser turns a room of supporters into a buzzing gaming floor — and one of the most profitable events your organization can run. We bring the tables, the dealers, and a plan that helps you raise more.

A casino-night fundraiser is the rare event that guests look forward to and your budget loves. Instead of a quiet sit-down dinner, your supporters spend the evening at blackjack, roulette, and craps tables, cheering each other on while every chip in the room works toward your cause. For 20 years MC Casino Gaming has produced charity casino nights across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego — entertaining more than 17,000 guests for charities, nonprofits, schools, and private clubs. Owner Robert personally oversees every fundraiser from the first planning call through teardown, so your committee can focus on guests instead of logistics.
How a casino-night fundraiser works
It's simpler than most people expect. Because we run non-cash, non-real-money play, no one is gambling actual money at the tables — which keeps your event clean, legal, and suitable for all ages. Here's the typical flow:
- Buy-in at the door. Each guest's ticket or donation includes a starter stack of casino chips (often called “funny money”). Want to play more? Guests buy additional chip packages throughout the night — every dollar going to your cause.
- Play the floor. Our Vegas-trained dealers run blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker, teaching first-timers as they go so everyone stays in the action.
- Cash in for a prize raffle. At the end of the night, guests trade their chips for raffle tickets. The bigger your stack, the more entries you earn toward donated prizes — which gives people a reason to keep buying chips all evening.
Layer a silent auction, a wine pull, or a paddle raise on top and the casino floor becomes the social engine that keeps people in the room — and spending — long enough for your other fundraising elements to do their work.
Which games raise the most money
The most profitable fundraisers lean on the games that seat — and entertain — the most people at once. Blackjack is the workhorse: it seats up to seven, teaches in thirty seconds, and keeps a steady, social pace. Roulette draws a crowd because watching the wheel is half the fun, so non-players gather and end up buying in. For high-energy rooms, craps is the loudest, most contagious table on the floor — a winning roll gets the whole event cheering. Rounding things out with a poker setup or a novelty/specialty game gives your more competitive guests a reason to keep playing late.
How many tables do you need?
Table count is the single biggest driver of how much a casino fundraiser raises, because empty chairs mean idle donors. A good planning rule is one gaming table per 12–15 guests. For a 150-person fundraiser that's roughly 10–12 tables — a healthy mix of several blackjack tables, one or two roulette wheels, a craps table, and a poker setup. We'll build the exact mix around your headcount, your venue footprint, and how heavily you want the room to play, all included in your free quote.
How proceeds are structured
Your organization keeps the proceeds — we provide the entertainment, not the gambling. Revenue typically comes from three streams: ticket or entry donations(which include each guest's starter chips), additional chip-package sales during the night, and the prize raffle and any auctionsthe chips drive toward. Because the chips have no cash value and pay out only in raffle entries for donated prizes, the model stays firmly on the right side of California rules around fundraising events. We'll happily walk your committee through how other LA and OC nonprofits have structured their nights.
Your fundraiser planning timeline
- 8–12 weeks out: Lock your date and venue, set a fundraising goal, and request your table mix. Booking early secures your date in our calendar, especially for fall gala and holiday season.
- 4–6 weeks out: Finalize guest count, design your chip-package pricing, and start collecting donated raffle and auction prizes.
- 1–2 weeks out: Confirm the floor plan and run-of-show with our team. We coordinate load-in timing with your venue.
- Event day: Our crew handles complete delivery, setup, dealing, and teardown. You and your volunteers never touch a table.
Why nonprofits, charities & schools choose casino nights
Casino nights raise more because they keep guests engaged for hours instead of minutes — and engaged guests give more. They're also approachable: anyone can play, our dealers teach the rules on the spot, and the energy gives even shy attendees an easy way to participate. The format scales from an intimate school benefit to a black-tie gala, and it photographs beautifully for next year's promotion.
Southern California organizations trust us with their signature events. We've produced casino fundraisers for the LA Trial Lawyers Charities, the Wags and Walks Foundation, and Occidental College, among many charities, nonprofits, schools, and universities. Every table is a regulation-size, casino-grade setup, and our dealers have worked in Las Vegas and top U.S. casinos — so your fundraiser feels like the real thing, not a card-table afterthought.

Real reviews from real events
Corporate galas, charity fundraisers, and milestone birthdays — here's what hosts say after the dealers pack up.
The MC Casino Gaming dealers did an excellent job making our guests feel at home and explained the rules of the games to novices. I couldn't be happier to write this extremely positive review on behalf of Robert and MC Casino Gaming.
I had the wonderful opportunity of working alongside the bartender and dealers at a recent event. It was a true pleasure to see such a professional operation.
Robert and his team did a fantastic job at my husband's 40th! The communication and booking process was easy and he was very organized with photos of the gaming tables, specs and competitive pricing.
